Hello everyone, I’ve just registered after finding this site the other day and discovering what a great community this is. It is nice to find a UK based astronomy forum for a change.

Anyway I thought I’d say hi. I’m from South London and have had an interest in astronomy since my early teens (over 20 years, now!). That said, my observing has been casual – I just drag the scope out for half an hour now and again and look at whatever takes my fancy. My main interest is lunar and planetary and I’m currently using a Skywatcher ED80.

I expect that I’ll be asking a fair few questions on here in the near future, so thanks in advance for your patience!
