NEQ6 PRO mount packing error

The current batch of Skywatcher NEQ6 PRO mounts have been fitted with the wrong saddle. They all have the Losmandy-style saddle, not the dual-saddle which accepts both Losmandy-style and Vixen-style dovetails.

Fortunately we have been able to loan ADM Losmandy-Vixen adapters to everyone affected so they can use their mounts while they wait for the correct saddles to arrive from China

If you have ordered an NEQ6 PRO from another retailer you might want to contact them to see what solution they are offering.

There was a period of time when they were supplied with two saddles but more recently they have been fitted with a dual-saddle.

I was one of the customers that recieved a NEQ6 at the weekend with only the losmandy saddle. FLO have been quick to reply to my concern and sent the on loan ADM losmandy adapter which arrived today. The ADM is excellently made as is all ADM kit.

Great service from FLO and Martin, what more could anyone ask for.

I bought mine from Opticstar back in December 2009 and even though it says "NEQ6" on it, it just has the old Vixen size saddle. Doesn't bother me as all I have are Vixen dove rails no Losmandy ones anyway.

My replacement NEQ6 (had to send original back as it was faulty) arrived today. It has the wrong saddle!!
