Thanks to Richard & the team for another enjoyable Kielder event. It was great to meet friends and make new ones - plus to learn from their incredible knowledge. Highlights for me were Thursday night (of course) and Dave's talk on imaging. I've just got to try photographing the famous "Llama smoking a cigar" nebula when I learn how my gear works. The best I could do was to, erm, photograph my gear. Hmm...

I've already booked for Spring, but in the meantime, I'm going to try narrowband through the orange skies of Warrington:icon_scratch:.

Jen and I finally got back to Bristol yesterday after heading up to Mull post Kielder and by all accounts taking the rain and cloud with us.

Whilst this was the muddiest we've been (we were wetter in 2009 I believe) we still had a great time. The break was our tonic and catching up with friends and meeting some new ones just what the doctor ordered.

We were a little gutted to arrived much later than planned and be too shattered to get the best out of Thursday night. Talks were great and I still managed to come away having learnt something (albeit about weather and pressure, thanks Mike)

Spring WILL be fantastic, so hope to see you all there.
