Hello Everybody. I am somewhat of an amateur astronomer and have found myself slowly getting hooked. I am looking to increase my knowledge in both astronomy and equipment. Starting to research scopes as we are going to upgrade soon. I currently use a Meade 114 EQ-AR, and am looking for something the whole family can use with possibly a GOTO mount.

Hi Cow and welcome - try asking the same question in the beginners forum. Scope advice is tricky without knowing budget, and what sort of thing your looking to see - no scope "does all". I've got a 127 MAK which is a great little scope on a goto mount - it may or may not be what you're looking for - but worth a look at
