  1. I am taking my first steps into solar viewing with a Skywatcher Startravel 120 and a Kendrick filter. After viewing for a few minutes is it normal to get the same feeling as you get when looking at the moon without a filter where it takes a while for your eye to readjust. Viewing the moon without a filter gives me problems so it could be my eyes are just sensitive even though I don't have any other eyesight problems. Any advice would be appreciated.

  10. Being relatively new to astronomy it is my belief that we never stop learning so it would seem that we are always looking to improve our experience, which probably means we are never satisfied.
  11. I have been using one for about a year without any problems. If there is any downside it is they are extremely SLOW.

  16. I don't have a Celestron scope but I believe they are the same company as Skywatcher. The Skywatcher motor focuser requires that the right hand focuser knob can be removed and the screws holding the focuser shaft can be used to attach one of the mounting brackets. If you can do both these things then the Skywatcher focuser should fit
