  1. Fortunately in our cloudy island, I get pleasure from both 😀
  2. Go for it 👍🏻 It will complement your FS 128.
  3. Video of a Takahashi TOA 150 that I saw on another chat site:
  4. Not used it yet Mark. Any recent clear nights I’ve been using the Mewlon for which the TPL is too high mag.
  5. Great sketch @Sunshine 👍🏻
  6. So have you decided to keep the Mewlon 210 @Fedele?
  7. Wonderful detail @Fedele. Especially in the GRS. You have got the M210 working to perfection
  8. What a pity Dave @F15Rules thread on manhole covers has been closed
  9. That is beautiful @yuklop 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
  10. So pleased the session with the FS 128 was a great success. Sounds like all these chores mean that you are still in the doghouse for scratching the kitchen table. Hope you don’t need a hard hat
  11. Dodging clouds, but some good views. Quite breezy.
  12. I find alcohol makes most things better 👍🏻
  13. Nope. And I couldn’t see any fibres on Mrs Sunshine’s (almost) perfect kitchen table either 👍🏻
  14. @Sunshine holding his FS 128 lens cap
  15. Not the most transparent of nights, but not bad. Started off with a couple of hours of CCD photometry in the dome (the open slit can just be seen in the background of the photo). Then some visual Jupiter with the Mu 210. Seeing has improved during the evening but still not the best. I’m finding that the Leica Zoom is really good for tuning the magnification to the seeing. It puts up really good images and is perhaps going to be my main planetary eyepiece with this scope. With a Panoptic 35 as widefield. With single EPs, I found the highest usable mag tonight was 220 (Apollo 11).
  16. Tak is about to release a a 2X “orthobarrow”: https://www-takahashijapan-com.translate.goog/ct-news/topics/23xii15_info_2xOB.html?_x_tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=no&_x_tr_pto=wapp
  17. I’m more interested in those lovely Nikon eyepieces 🤣
  18. They are handy if get caught short while observing, too 👍🏻
  19. Hope you managed to duck 🤞🏻
