  1. Far from ideal conditions,had to get Jup and Saturn between 2 houses with only a 10 minute window,and not the best seeing,but after almost 3 weeks of cloud and rain,any thing will do.

  3. Your sketch looks good to me and how it should look....the secondary should not be in the center,it should be off set,even more in a fast scope.
  4. A couple from tonight and just noticed a couple of possible meteors in each pic. Stock dslr and 50mm lens.

  6. Its actually visible just after sunset right through to sunrise at the minute.
  7. Brilliant....feel like im the only one hasn't got a pic of this yet,have my gear ready and waiting last 3 nights,alarm set and woke to clouds...had planned to go to Divis mountain where i know has a great viewing spot,will try tonight again.

  9. I reckon you could see it at 2.30,it actually may be circumpolar for us......but just.
  10. Hi Adam, don't have any charts, but just look below and to the left of Capela, about 20 degrees above the horizon and sweep with binos, you can't miss it, really easy with naked eye once found.
  11. Finally got to see it this morning,nice and clear horizon,but needed to observe it through the attic window. Couldnt see it by eye,but through 8x30 binos it looked amazing,lovely tail and bright nucleus,easily visible naked eye once i knew where to look from around 3.00am until 4.00am.

  13. Would be even better if the finder was right way round.....lol,had the 4" version and always regretted selling it. Of course the price would be a factor.

  15. Cracking image for such a short time,did you have dark skies?
  16. You should never clean a mirror with anything other than warm soapy water,never any cleaning fluid,and rinse with chemists distilled water.

  22. I have put a wanted add for a Morpheus 17.5,you never know,or try a new Nirvana 16mm,but will see how the quest for a used Baader goes.
