  3. Pretty bad seeing last night......again, hopefully will get some steady air to soon which will make a great difference i hope. c9.25 ZWO, 224mc @ f20.
  4. Not the best seeing with fair amount of turbulance,but worth a go. c9.25,224mc @ f 10.
  5. Or maybe........just maybe......it will be clear in Belfast tonight..........na, probably just life elswhere😁
  6. Cracking image..looks like you got Olympus Mons there.
  7. Nice one, didn't have my thinking cap on,thank you for that. Paul
  8. Its labeled Astro-tech,but they look identical, thank you, M4 is the width isn't that right ?,would you know what length i need.
  9. Hello all, would any one know what size of screws i would need to attach this focuser to a scope. I have the Agena Astro adaptor to fit my c80ed but im not sure of the screws. Thanks Paul.
  10. Well done mate, looks brilliant and wish all involved the best of luck.
  11. That's the best image I have seen this aparation ..... class.
  12. Have you tried a star test, this is a sure way of showing it you need to collimate your scope.
  13. Really......thats reassuring,thank you.
  14. Yea,it was the native f10,here is a f20 image,just not as sharp.
  15. Mars tonight with good seeing. c9.25,zwo 224mc @ f10.
  16. Mars will look egg shaped and like an oval at the minute, until it is at opposition. Why i ask about focus is the other night Mars looked really bad and was really bouncing about on my screen,i thought it was extroardinary bad seeing until i realised i forgot to re focus and the view i was getting was very similar to your pic. In my pic you can see the oval egg shape Mars is at present.
  17. Its not easy,i know.....one thought,was your focus good?
  18. Your probably right,i have advertised for a while now for a used one,but no joy as yet, even put a wanted add on cloudy nights.
  19. Yes i like the old scope, but it would probably be a Skywatcher focuser, or similar that would be replacing the original one.......so, Sell my old c80, maybe around £ 180,save the £ 140 on focuser,£ 30 for adaptor to fit focuser...Tot,£ 350. New 80ed...£ 380.
  20. I currently own a c80 ed which is a great little scope with great optics, the only flaw with these scopes is the focuser, now i have been trying to buy a used focuser as a replacement but to no avail, now the dilemma is do i buy a new focuser at around £ 140 or sell the scope and but a new SW 80 ed,which would not be much more after selling the scope and not having to replace the focuser.......what would you do.. Paul
  21. I have the premium one, which is a very well built and solid piece, and excellent fit in my focusers.
  22. Cheers Craig,it seems ok on my screen, but mine could be off though..
  23. Still not the best of nights, with fair bit of bad seeing, but managed to get a couple of Mars pics through the murk..... C9.25 @ f10 and f20 and zwo 224mc.
