  1. I have 3, 2 f10s and a F9. 3, A Tal 100rs a celestron C-102 and a Meade 127 emc.
  2. My refractors now I can get out and look at the sun with a Herschel wedge and view double and multiple stars, I can now view anytime its clear it doesn't have to be pristine.
  3. Well at 56 I'm not so young so hopefully no clot scares for me. 😁
  4. A warm welcome to SGL
  5. I have been lethargic since my booster strange other people would say that I had astrazenecea. My back and hip are playing up quite significantly even though its clear out I won't be going out don't want to make things worse.
  6. Dave, I had thought that myself as my biggest FOV are the BST`s at 60° obviously I would have to spend a fair amount on eyepieces and are they going to be any better just for the sake of a wider FOV.
  7. Dave, I have a mixture of eyepieces Meade, BST, Televue, Celestron and Vixen. 8 use my Celestron zoom to star align the mount. My most used are the 25mm BST to make sure I'm in the right place next the 15mm BST to me this is one brilliant eyepiece punches well above its weight. For tighter doubles its either the 11mm plossl or the 10mm vixen which although being a old eyepiece it's one of the best I have in my locker. I have lower mag eyepieces but nothing that compares to them I really need to get better ones but having a tal x2 Barlow I can Barlow the 10mm. I would love to try other eyepieces in my scopes but I will have to wait until I get to go to a meet but I'm happy with what I have and they do the job for me. Paul
  8. When I had my 200p I flocked it the same way as @Stuhung down the tube and from both ends.
  9. A warm welcome to SGL Double and multiple stars are very easy to look at even in less pristine skies and with light pollution.
  10. No I would like a 10" dob, the Ioptron AZ Pro and a few more eyepieces. I have 3 fracs a solar wedge but I need a easier and more accurate mount for them 2 f10's and a F9. 3. The 10" would be big enough to get deep sky objects but not too big.
  11. Lovely report just shows what you can do with a moderately sized scope.
  12. Wow brilliant thank you for posting the pictures are fantastic.
  13. I would like something taller but these seem to be quite good
  14. I have seen quite a few plans to make my own adjustable observing chair which is a project for the new year. What do you people think of this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/StoolPal-Portable-Telescopic-Stool-Retractable/dp/B091WWD22J/ref=asc_df_B091WWD22J/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=535061575353&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14642227397218448201&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046510&hvtargid=pla-1396534743779&psc=1

  16. The views through the 22" are amazing I have had the good fortune to see M51 through it it was fantastic.
  17. I'd love a camper van but I will have to wait until I win the lottery 😁
  18. I would of thought that they would perhaps its because you have hired from them before thank you, I may have a alternative renting a caravan off site then visiting everyone and if we get a clear night bring my kit and view with you all.
  19. That's not bad did you have to put a deposit down as well.
