    I have bought a lynx astro cable so no cheap cables. I have watched a video about replacing the connector like for like but it is to much for my skills. I have a proper soldering station so I can turn the temperature down but I don't think I could do it. Maybe I could send it to someone with far more skills than me. I know people have done it on a HEQ5 replaced with a screw on connector. Something like this.

    Does anyone know of a thread or fix for the power supply for this mount, the connection has started to droop so I have had to put a elastic band under it to keep it in place. Ideally I would like to replace with a screw type connection.

    I have a eq6 tripod with adapter for my EQ5 goto overkill maybe but it's steady as a rock.

    Nice haul Sigma 1873 co ordinates are 14h 44.8m +07° 42` you can put them in the handset as a new object.

    No between the 30th of May and the 5th of June Ian already got flicking material but I don't think there is enough two 1 metre by 45" just going to do the best I can.

    I totally agree its my goto eyepiece and Sky at Night magazine did a comparison and it came out on top.

    I found that yesterday space weather does not give it a AR number very strange. Cracking sketch you have got them perfect.

    My first scope was a 150p on a eq3-2 mount had it for 3 years had so much fun with it I upgraded to a 200p on a EQ5 goto. I sold the 200p and I so regret it, I have a couple of refractors now and a 10" dob.

    Tal 100rs, Herschel Wedge, Galaxy S10, continuum filter. Various eyepieces 25mm, 15mm BST`s 11mm Televue plossl, 10mm Vixen silver top and a 12.5mm university ortho.

    I use one of these that powers two dew bands for my 4" refractors for two 4hr sessions before needing to charge. I attach it to the centre of the scope and wind the cables around so nothing gets snagged.

    I have bought and fitted said bearings for my 10" Celestron Starsense the difference is astounding, finger tip movement but stays where I put it.
