Views from Lincolnshire
After moving to a dark sky area in rural Lincolnshire in 2014, my interest in astro imaging has increased greatly. My main interest has been in planetary imaging but now, with darker and much clearer skies, I am 'dabbling' with some deep sky 'stuff'.- Album created by morayskies

inter galactic photos
a few photos i have that i found odd. ive got tons of self taken photos of the stars but im not an expert so i dont know exacty whats what as im looking at them. but i do know the photo taken at 10:29 on the 12th of the 12th 2015 is the left and centre star of orions belt and the one on the left if you zoom in looks like it has a human face looking right back at you. and the photo at 10:31 looks like it has a few faces looking at you.
and the photo from 10:45 and 10:48 have 2 bright round things which i was thinking could they be a planet as the second one seems to cast a huge shadow onto the bi main star if so could anybody tell me what it is?
or if not i guess they are just cool pictures whatever they are.- Album created by Jim Raybould

EAA - Wide Field H-Alpha w Ultrastar Mono
Wide field h-alpha captures from a live viewing session at the scope and no post processing. Taken with a 50mm f3.8 guide scope and SX Ultrastar Mono camera on a Nexstar Evolution Alt Az mount.
The large chip size of the Ultrastar pushed the optics of this little scope to its limits.- Album created by Astrojedi

NEO 2015 TB145
12 minute voyage of NEO 2015 TB145.
Images aquired at the Northolt Branch Observatory.
2015 TB145 is a near-Earth asteroid roughly 600 meters in diameter. It safely passed 1.27 lunar distances from Earth on 31 October 2015 at 17:01 UTC.
The asteroid was first observed on 10 October 2015 by Pan-STARRS at an apparent magnitude of 20 using a 1.8-meter Ritchey–Chrétien telescope. The asteroid was not discovered sooner because it spends most of its time beyond the orbit of Mars, has a large orbital inclination, and spends most of its time well below the plane of the ecliptic. The asteroid last passed within 0.1 AU of Earth in 1923 and the 2015 flyby was its closest approach to Earth in at least the next 500 years.- Album created by Guy Wells
