It seems like ages since I posted some images here. I think I was waiting for several from the same day, but I seem to be jumping here and there at the mo! These are from the past month or so. Thanks for looking!

Very nice Luke, the Quark shots are brill.  My Quark has gone back for 'upgrade' to fix the temperature/tuning problem.  I hope it isn't too long, but would rather they keep it until it is right.

Thanks, all, most kind!

spaceboy, for white light and h-alpha, I normally use a Photoshop plugin, called Topaz Labs BW Effects 2. I start with the preset "Stylized Collection > Quad Tone Redscale II" usually, and tweak the colours and sliders. I normally change it quite a lot from there, but it gives a solid starting point.

Craig, ahem, one's "scratched" Quark only affects one's eyepiece view, camera view is fine, thank goodness! :-)

Sold me Luke as in my pm.

I am pretty amazed at the detail the Quark produces, user included of course.

Like i said the 85mm is pretty near mine but can you tell me what camera was used please ?

Thanks, Ewan!

I forgot to add the camera!

It was a Point Grey Grasshopper 3 (ICX687), and I forgot to say that for all images I also used a 0.5x reducer (1.25", from Telescope House, about £20 or so).

Sarah and I are thinking of adding a second camera that is more affordable than the Grasshopper. Top of our list at the moment is the Point Grey Blackfly USB3.
