M42 and running man 15th Jan

Found a break in the clouds Sunday night but as usual things didn't run smoothly. Polar aligning when a friend rolled up and wanted to look through the scope, then about to connect camera when noticed laptop not running from mains. So had to load maxim and camera drivers onto another laptop. Thin high cloud brought out loads of sky glow. The lum subs were useless but managed the RGBs.

ZS66 with AP 0.67 reducer and SXV H9. All 3 channels 60x30 secs although probably only 2/3 of subs usable cos of cloud. Combined in Maxim, had a go with DDP, finished in PS

Just want a proper clear night!!!!

You got to be pleased with that one Martin , its a super image , think the colour is just perfect as well , also like the stars , think you have done a splended job on that one , 11/10 great stuff .
