Hello again, thank you all very much for the warm and friendly welcome, makes us feel quite at home!

Well we recieved the scope late yesterday pm, built it up and had a go at the moon with various EPs - WOW we were blown away!

Now for the endless questions- to fit the polar scope to the mount, do we need to remove anything from the mount first? This may seem a bit obvious to you guys but didnt want to damage anything, it looks to me as if the dial/gauge on the polar must replace the existing one on the mount.

hi dave ,only had mine 3 months (and been out about 3 times cause of clould) but it seems to be a good scope. showed my nearly 4year old the moon, "it's a bit bumpy" he says.
