Perseus Cluster

Tried to get a clean image of the double cluster last night while overhead. Pleased with the even background on this one and its one of my favourite visual objects.

Yes, a favourite of mine too, lovely image:).

I really like the colour rendition of the numerous orange stars in the clusters, they've come out very well.

Thanks for the comments,

The Kit was my usual Megrez 90 refractor with a Atik 4000 Mono camera (Astronomik RGB filters).

The colours were very well balanced and saturated immediatly after the channels were combined, only needed to adjust the midtone levels and remove a slight gradient.

I did add the spikes later in PS for a festive look
