Hi All,

I'm new here but not so much to astronomy.

I bought a TAL-2M in 2003, and it's not had much use since then. However I'm pushing myself to get it out and start observing again.

I don't have a main interest, I like to look at whatever I can. But I hope to improve on my technical skills and imaging. There are links to my flickr profile and youtube account in my signature (but there's more than just astro suff there - you have been warned!).

Pob Hwyl/Best regards,

Mei

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome.

To answer the questions, I live in Y Felinheli between Caernarfon and Bangor.

Yes, we do have some very dark skies over here. In fact, I went caravanning in Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula a month ago, which is not unlike a desert as far as light pollution is concerned. The moon was bright which was a shame, but everyone in my group saw the ISS high above and were amazed.
