I am a brand new newbie here.

I have been observing for a short while, and everyone seems to be very nice. :D

I've been looking to buy a celestron 8" reflector cn-8 pretty cheepy cheep.

Does anyone know if its a decent telescope?

Hi Jeff, Welcome to SGL i would recomend checking out the primers as i did to get to grips with a few things, their turly informative. And as for your CN-8 im sure if you have a browed through the forum someone will of reviewed or comented on it no doubt.
