Ditto! 🤣 We had the magenta streaks to the north east which have now disappeared but…. 22 minutes ago, iwols said: Thanks Chris north or straight up It was north east, but northwest is still showing red now for me:
raadoo
It seems entirely unlikely that we should ever see an aurora at 46 degrees north, but there it was tonight. Started out as a massive deep red cloud and just before disappearing it did a nice song and dance in purple and greens. Sol's CMEs definitely gave us a show for tonight.

Came back after putting the old one on charge and saw it on the screen Colours a lot more vivid and bright on the camera screen. Suspect it’s losing it from RAW to jpg conversion when copying the image over wifi to the phone. Shame, I’ll have to review them all later. But the streaks are still visible now. The huge pillar I mentioned earlier spanned from zenith to beyond the pole, and was shadowed with a red outer streak too. I wonder if the 1000 is catching up, or if we’re in for a bigger show to come!
