New to astronomy

Hi, a newcomer to astronomy, I have a little knowledge and experience of the night sky and have just bought my first telescope. A second hand sky watcher 130p on an alt-az goto mount. I'm looking forward to a clear night sky soon and putting it to use. Hopefully I won't be asking to many stupid questions. Look forward to chatting with you all.
