RGB ‘Beaver’ moon?

It's been a while since I point a scope at the moon for anything other than a quick look. I finally demounted my C11 last night, after pursuing Jupiter for as many sessions as the recent weather has allowed. The FL of the C11 didn't easily allow a full disk image without a lot of mosaic panels

6 panel mosaic, 50% of 5000 per panel, AS!4 beta / Registax / ICE then pushed the colour a little in PixInsight. I'm a little rusty at this

Alex,

That's both gorgeous and inspirational. I keep intending to try a colour image of the Moon with my ASI462, but still haven't attempted it. The FOV with the C14 is crazy small, rquiring about 100 images in a mosaic, but I should pair it with the 4" APO and see what that give's me. Maybe once I've done with Jupiter and Uranus (and maybe Neptune), I'll give it a try.

Very nice.   For myself,  I far prefer this one to your version posted later

I think I agree with that. It's certainly sharper. Thanks!

Great work! Whenever I try a color moon I find highlights turn green.

Thank you! Yes, if the colour balance is green heavy it show up when you push the saturation. Photoshop 'Camera Raw Filter' can fix it with the Defringe tool
