I got to view it through broken cloud

What a blinder that was, went right overhead, watched it for a good 4 minutes or so.

Crystal clear here, a beautiful sight, right over my head. Of course the camera battery died right on cue.

Total cloud out here hopped might have capture the faintes glimmer but nowt...

I had a bank of DSLR's setup with overlapping FOV already for it... ah well never mind couple of tabs and a snifter to knock me out until the morning instead...

Thanks, Billy - grabbed the bins and the family and dashed out - it was already visible in the west in a surprisingly clear sky, so a great view!

On the western horizon clear skies. Overhead thick cloud. Ah well whats new.....

Saw it clearly. Even with our old eyeballs it was cross shaped and, just before it faded grew a second set of very bright wings. Also, unlike the last few nights it was silver rather than a bit red.

Roll on tonights 20-13 pass - hope the sky is clear and the ISS is on time. Somehow we always worry that like a train it will run late!
