My name is Karol. I started with AP 2015 with a StarAdventurer and Canon lenses.

A few weeks ago finally I bought an Explorer 130PDS. Since this forum is often called "130PDS central", I think I'm in the right place here 😉

So far I have upgraded my 130PDS with a primary mirror ring.

I'm currently struggling with the correct distance between DSLR sensor - corrector. Since I only measured 54mm distance, I bought T-2 spacers (0.3mm, 0.5mm and 1mm) to achieve the required 55mm distance (+- 1 mm, as Baader says). 2 days ago I tested with the 0.5mm spacer and the result is much better than before without any ring. Next test will be done with the 1mm ring 🙂

The attached image is the result from this test with the 0.5mm ring. 

Mount: iOptron GEM28
Cam: Canon EOS 70D (modified)
Scope: Explorer 130PDS
Corrector: Baader MPCC Mark III

2015-2021: AP with a StarAdventurer and Canon lenses (24mm - 400mm), processing with PixInsight since 2016 (started with DSS)

2021: Upgraded mount: iOptron GEM28

2022: Upgraded "lens": Explorer 130PDS

So, regarding AP with telescopes I'm a absolute beginner...
