Cloud interrupted what could have been even better. But this came out ok from what we have to deal with in the UK. Can you imagine whats coming next year ?

Slightly later capture to the one posted before. 245mm Newtonian. EQ5 mount. QHY 462C Camera. QHY IR UV CUT Filter

Great stuff and incredible when you think how high it gets at the moment. The coming years will be very exciting for planetary imagers to be sure...

Cheers So hope i make it to next year. Very uncertain times. But excited to try. Been in this game for a while. But next year really want to bring it all together. Heres hoping. I still remember giving up astronomy when planets went south. Not knowing if i would ever see them again. But here we are. Its great.

Cheers Craig good weather might be coming next week ?

Yeah was looking good for next week here, but forecast has changed and looking pretty rainy now.

Did you use your ADC for this one or leave it off?

Excellent capture Neil! High pressure over UK this week though lots of cloud so far.

Been seeing this Stuart. That cloud hitting the east is going to stop a lot i reckon. Its been the same all season. But hope to snatch something. Good luck if you have a go.

Really nice detailed image Neil.

Same here last night, it just wasn't worth the effort.

Angie

Early on it was so bad. it was tearing at the planet with a very fast jet stream. Later it settled a little bit when i was doing lunar imaging. Too late for jupiter by then.

Cheers Angie

Very nice Neil a cracking shot!

Cheers Simon. weather has been so bad lately its just put a real stop to this for me. With cloud around all the time i have no option but to use smaller scopes. Which can not produce a result like this. Hope i am wrong but starting to feel ive got my best already this year. Especially on Saturn. But you never know i suppose.

Super result, nice detail and colour - very envious! We've finally had a couple of clear nights and I'm laid up after a minor op. Bad timing!!

Sorry to hear that Tom aint that always the way. Good weather comes and something gets in the way. Hope you recover soon.
