using a Orion star shoot camera in Mac OS 

step 1 the first thing  is to launch face time then click on video the the icons will appear 

step 2 in the icon you will see under camera face time hd camera built in and the orion star shoot camera

step 3 once you see the Orion star shoot camera then click on that camera and this should answer your problems depending on which camera
