How bad were the (LP) gradients in your image? I'm seriously struggling with getting rid of them on mine at the moment. Nearly pulled what's left of my hair

Just beautiful Richard! Lots of lovely dark detail in the image.

No gradients at all. I've got a decent dark sky to the East. Do you have gradient exterminator?

Thanks Adam. My thoughts too. I was hoping the background would steal the show from the Tulip.

Dark skies do help. Unfortunately I don’t. I use Pixinsight but do dab in to PS from time to time for final processing

I had another go at this. Held back overall on the stretch and managed more contrast. Would love some feedback on which version is preferred.

Both images are a take on excellent, but maybe I prefer the darker tones of your reprocessed version.

Thanks. I think i agree i find the original a little over done.
