What is this object passing through Orion

I was imaging this past Sunday night shooting 240sec exposures and caught this object passing through, this is five images ROUGHLY blended together totaling 20 mins. Since I am new to this, I have no idea what it is other than possibly a satellite, maybe ? Thanks for any input.

on close up it looks very much like a satilite, but could be space junk. nice pic. charl.

There are a few sites you can use to check satellites, Stellarium is pretty accurate, if you set the time and date and select the satellite button you can see if it's shown.

depending on how far out it and if its geosink or not thay vairy in speed, space is infested with the criters its like a load of wasps buzzing round a nest, I took 40 120sec subs of the neb lastnight and 50% had them in and I wasn't doing widefield. charl.

Maybe a slow tumbling satellite or piece of junk. Bernard's loop is coming through nicely in your image as well.

This reminds me of when I was imaging the Witch Head Nebula it was inundated with apparently slow moving satellites all following a similar track. I concluded they were Geostationary and suspect this is the same.

Plenty up there moving in the right direction, many of them quite faint, mag 17 ish but this one looks relatively brighter.

What time was it?

Have to agree with the Geostationary - lower part of Orion is lousy with them.

heres one passing through. this one looks a bit meter like in the single frames but I think its a satilite. charl.

 

just single frames straight outa camera at 20.10 and made it a giff with pipp

and heres one going through my first sub of old flamey

there like wasps for sure.
