Lunar Mosaic - 19th September 2008

Lunar mosaic, series of 7 shots captured using a Canon EOS 400D attached to a Celestron C11 telescope at 'prime focus' on Friday, 19th (late evening) and Saturday, 20th (early morning) of September 2008. Edited and stitched together using Photoshop on a mac.

This is my first image taken with the 400D and indeed my first serious attempt at DSLR astrophotography, so please be gentle on me. I found focusing tricky but finally got the hang of it at about 1.30am :shock:
