Well that is simply WOW!!  Thanks for sharing that Stu it's made my day as I'm off to see Brian Cox tonight so that will be on my mind.

Kind of also somehow adds weight to the argument that we are probably not the only life form out there given that each of those hundreds of galaxies contain billions of stars.

Swoop1 heads over to FLO to see if they still have a Hubble in the clearance section.......

That is a fantastic image. The explanation about the streaks of light being galaxies that have their light distorted by the gravitational effect of the cluster is mind blowing.
