Yes. All file up/downloads and even .g file editing is via Web Control.

 

BTW Pronterface or Repetier Host will also work for the initial setup via the usb port

Send M115 to find out which version of the firmware is installed.

Mine was preloaded with the v1.19 software so I followed the instructions from this line onwards:

• Send the following command to start the WiFi module so that it can accept a programming command:

M552 S0

Tried Arduino IDE as you suggested and the lights flashed for a few seconds then wet out.  No reply from M115 @ 9600 baud - think I'll use Repetier Host from Win 7 laptop.

Doesn't want to connect in RH.  I often have this problem with Mega/RAMPS etc with my Titan.  Does it need a windows driver needed?  Says "COM2 doesn't exist" or something.

Looked in device mangler and it says it needs driver - so that answers my question - does recognise Duet

Yes, I'm there and have downloaded the files - they're in > Gina > Downloads > DuetDriverFiles.  BUT from Update Driver that directory is not showing in > Gina > Downloads

It's alright - found the problem - hadn't extracted the files from the ZIP.

RH successfully connected to Duet

Sent the WiFi codes and got responses except that it hasn't sent the IP address.  Guess I can find it from my router though, if the Duet WiFi is working.

The router is NOT showing the Duet in the Client list

Sending M552 from Repetier Host returns "Wi Fi module is idle".

Found my mistake - got the SSID wrong - DOH!!

Corrected that and re-entered the SSID and PW (twice) and now have connection according to reply in RH and also my router is showing "duet" in Client list.  However, when I enter 192.168.1.150 the returned IP address and as shown as duet Client the Firefox shows a blank screen

Tried telnet\ftp, if enabled ??   Did you update to the latest firmware ?  and then downloaded\copied the www files to the card ? I had the same thing till I updated...

It's worth upgrading but it should work with the supplied version - probably 1.19.

Firmware Version 1.19.2.  WiFi version 1.0.

Could you tell me the web address to download the latest firmware, please?  I can only find 1.19.

Mine worked fine on 19.2. I wouldn't recommend trying to upgrade it until you have the web interface working.

Not sure. Mine worked ok once I had it connected to the WiFi which you seem to have done. Make sure you have followed all the instructions on the wiki. There is also a section on how to upgrade it and where to get the files.

on the root of the SD card is there a www folder ? if not then that is where the problem lies.

You'll need to remove it from the printer (next to WIFI aerial) & mount it on a PC with an SD adaptor

I disconnected the Duet by unplugging the USB connector from the laptop.  Tried connecting from Firefox and didn't connect.  So sent M552 S1 to enable the Wi Fi and it then connected but again showed a blank page.
