Hi all. I thought I'd introduce myself. I stumbled across the site whilst getting sidetracked from my A level physics coursework.

I do quite a bit of astro at school but I'm pretty much a totally beginner so I'm looking to learn lots. I help out with our school society so I always need ideas. We have a 10 inch reflecting telescope that we can use but I don't know much more about it.

Hello Harriet and welcome to SGL from neighbouring Somerset. A 10" reflector is a good piece of kit and should give some pretty good views.

If you have any questions just ask away; there's lots of people with a wide range of experiences on the forum who will be ablee to help.
