first quark 2pane mosaic

well what have I been doing on a cloudy day like today,?

ive been learning myself to stitch Quark images together.

I'm chuffed to bits with the result, I carnt wait to have a go at a full disc, the pics where taken yesterday.

please let us know what you think, all advice is most welcome.

Good stuff Charl, like Ernie Wises hair, can't see the join.

What did you use to stitch it ?

Did you sharpen before or after stitching ? one bit looks a bit sharper than the other.

thanks Dave, ICE, but I'm going to try autostitch tomorrow just to compaire, ICE worked first go must be beginers luck again.  charl.  ps didn't sharpen yet just cuves, might of applied more on the top pane..

P'Shop is good, when it works, as you can still muck about with the individual panes after it's stitched.

 I tell a lie ,autostacker sharpened the images after staxing 40%, what I ment was havnt sharpend in photoshop yet.  charl

Very good result. Note that I find it is generally best to sharpen before stitching. This is especially true with AutoStitch, which produces jpeg files, and sharpening them results in all sorts of artefacts. MS-ICE never likes my H-alpha images, so I am surprised it worked for you

thanks Michael , thay where sharpend in AS2, 40% I think and then curves and micro contrast adjusted in PS topaz, I tryed some images out of AS2 unsharpened, and ICE just wouldn't have it,. hope you have some clear, charl.
