hi blinky as far as i can tell from the info i have read its supposed to be around 21:30 UT its not a full eclipse but it would still be nice to see it. im not so sure thats going to happen though i have wall to wall cloud cover here in swindon ive just checked and first contact is at 09:33 for london 09:31 for bristol greatest coverage 10:15 - 10:18 regards Pete

According to me, looking out the window - it's absolutely pelting down and if it clears up by then then I'm a Dutchman's uncle... .

hey guys check your sky cover ive just been outside and i now have definate breaks in the cloud cover still aprox 90% cover but definate breaks here in swindon and the skies appear to be clearing from the south to south west so fingers crossed maybe just maybe we wil get a couple of looks at the partial lunar eclipse regards Pete

Broken cloud in the Peterborough area.

Had a quick look through binos - 22.15pm -bright upper crescent the eclipsed part of the moon a definite red colour.

partly clear here and i've got the scope set up pointed at the moon , this is my first partial eclipse and it is a beauty!

my location is east lothain just east of edinburgh

22.28pm - moon entered thick cloud.

The red colour much fainter just before it disappeared.
