Jupiter - 25th Jan 2017

Hi all,

after been put off by cloud last night, I left my rig setup overnight specifically to capture Jupiter in the small window of opportunity I had from my backyard.

Seeing was pretty rubbish with 100% humidity & I had to shoot over house roofs, that said, this is my first real capture with my new ASI224 and I am fairly pleased with the results.

Nice start with your camera, some good detail visible there. Was that at the native focal length or with a Barlow?

The 3 with Io are native, the last is with a x3 Barlow

Always nice to see the GRS on show. Are you using the Firecapture and autostart2 combo?

I used SharpCap then stacked in AS!2 before doing wavelets in RegiStax
