She asks me if I am "going upstairs with my girlfriend tonight" (the house has a flat roof with my scope shed in one corner)

I usually say I am going out.......................       and before I have completed the sentence she says 'Good' - I have never completed the sentence !

I usually just pace up and down peering through the blinds, pop into the kitchen with the lights off and say something like "I might just have a little go" and I get a response "off you go then I'm going to bed".

I usually say it's clear might take the telescope out for 1/2hour

and come back in after 1hour or early if it clouds over
