Late capture today. I did set up for Ca-K but a combination of clouds and trees put me back in my place

My morning view was clear but very unstable.

great shots Dave, its sunny here thismorrning "sun" I'm just trying to get some shots, ive that horrible thin cloud just where sol is, if it don't go in the next 10 min I'm going to shoot through it because theres some thick stuff on the way.  thanks. charl.

Great shots... i like the presentation too.. do you stitch the images together in photoshop, and add the "colour" there? I feel like I'm after trade secrets here....

Thanks all.

@Fozzie Stack and process the image in the normal way (AS!2, IMPPG and then into gimp for finishing) then crop to just a mone disk and copy and paste into a new image wide enough to take a colour copy too. The little grid at the top is taken from a program called Tilting Sun.
