The Solar Photosphere - 8th July

Grabbed in the same gap that allowed me to get a Ca-K full disk earlier today. Seeing was average at best but the final images seems to have escaped unscathed!

Thanks all. Was a day of two halves today. We attended my sons sports day this morning and the weather was awful - cloudy, windy and cold. We both stood and shivered! This afternoon was a total transformation, wind dropped a little, Sun came out and temperatures shot up - back to shorts and T-shirt. No wonder we all end up with colds and Flu!

You kinda have to make the most of the gaps at the moment. They're few and far between or at least that's how it feels!
