I had to get the lappy out to get good focus in whiet light this morning so it seemed only logical to shoot some Ca-K too :grin: Sun is pretty quiet in Ca-K too but there is some activity on the north eastern limb and there was a reasonable size prominence in the south west.

A couple of different processes of the prominence. The first done in ImPPG and then GIMP, the last done entirely in GIMP. I'm not entirely happy with either of them but they serve as a record.

I'm trying hard to convince myself that I do not need a new camera in order to get better prominence images :happy8:
