My first mars this season at around 12 degs, carn't see me improving much on this due to problems with my location, but at least its one in the bag lol!

Great Shot! Could you include some details of how you took it, scope, camera etc.

That really is a quite good image, despite us being in the Northern latitudes (44.28°N here) - and you somewhere around 52°. The outlines of the differing parts of the Martian landscape is very well pronounced - despite the long journey through the thick layers of your atmosphere.

The image was taken using a meade 12" sct & a skyris 236m camera - x 1.3 barlow!
