First solar image ... be gentle !

It's worth checking the green channel to see if it is usable or not. Whilst imaging using my PST / Barlow / DSLR combo I used to find that sometimes the green channel looked better than the red. Can't remember now where I picked that idea up but must have picked it up from someone.

I think you should be pretty pleased with that knobby, plenty of detail and an excellent start.

Colour, well, fine with me but each to their own, though if it was me I think I'd try brightening it a bit. I'm not sure about the last image, nothing intrinsically wrong but not sure if it appeals. Other views may vary

Personally I agree Ian. The first image worked very nicely for me. Ha is red, so that's how I'm used to seeing it visually.
