Made up a double cardboard holder that's a solid fit inside my dew shield, against a series of stops. blanked off both finders. Set up in garden - realised exact PA was not a big issue... and started solar tracking. Of course cloud then arrives Eventually the sun appears briefly enough for me to roughly focus and frame, just a few seconds each time. Long sausage like cloud drifts endlessly across the sun. Sun drops towards garage roof. Eventually cloud passes on and... I can focus on the sun but it's totally criss-crossed by branches :-( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
