Managed to grab some H Alpha and Ca-K data whilst out this morning. Pretty windy at times so quite (pleasantly) surprised how well these have come out.

Excellent imaging David, is it me or does CaK seem to be less affected by conditions than HA ?

Wow!!! amazing how much more the prom can be seen in the CaK, usually you can see it further out than CaK and this pic shows nicely. Absolutely stunning pics

Realised later in the day that I hadn't made a great job of the Ca-K disc (untidy paste of the disc onto new background and orientation not the same as my white lights). So here is a partial reprocess.

Was all a bit messy yesterday, Sharpcap kept loosing touch with the camera and my brain had seemingly divorced itself of all knowledge of how to actually image the Sun since my last session

Excuse me Mr Weatherman, can I have some more practice please.....

I downloaded the latest v2.7 of Sharpcap in the hope that this will stop the camera comms problem, not sure what I can do about the other
