Added an OIII channel to this target tonight, plus a few more Ha subs, but it's still not enough to give a smooth result. Currently 10 x 30min Ha and 6 x 30min OIII. There are so many stars in this area (especially using 30min subs) it makes it really hard to process.

Too many stars? Have you tried removing them, and putting them back in later?

That's a good tip on star removal, I would normally do this when processing a narrowband image. This is a fine start on what looks like a difficult target.

Straton is pretty good at removing stars, which allows you do the processing on the faint stuff.

That is a great capture on what is a dim and difficult target to image well (so I'm led to believe). Well done, one of the best I've seen.

Yes, this is an extremely crowded area of sky - this is how the unprocessed stacks look (stretched only) - too many stars!

Thanks, yes it is a faint so and so. I'll keep going as long as I'm pulling intersting detail out. I just noticed a filament in the OIII channel pointing the top-right corner in this image, not seen that elsewhere.
