The Sun - 17th Sep 2015 Ca-K Edition

A bit late but took a while to process the data and sift the good from the not-so-good As I mentioned in my earlier post, seeing was excellent around 08:30 this morning when I was shooting white light but by the time I started my Ca-K run just after 09:00 it was changing quite rapidly.

Consequently neither of the full disk mosaics worked as I hoped, the 2 pane (below) is a bit soft but the 6 pane simply would not stitch.

The slice it what I managed to save from the failed 6 pane mosaic. 4 panes @ 1000mm FL cropped in GIMP.

Took some data of the ARs @ 1500mm FL and managed to stitch those together to get a 2 pane mosaic of that area.

Then I moved up to 2000mm FL. These are scaled down a little to improve sharpness.
