Took this last night.15k worth of frames. Used 5k.

About the best one I have got so far.A lot of it

seems to be luck, with weather conditions.

Did not realise, it would turn out as  good, as

this one. Very pleased.

Great pic Steve. I've not had a go myself yet but weather permitting I might have a go on Sat night. Did you have a clear horizon?

Paul

No Paul. It was over houses. Facing south,

towards the sea. Got about a 4 hour window.

This was taken at 0200 hrs.

Very nice image Steve with a more defined cassini division! That camera is working well now.

Hi Stuart. I think doing the Colimanation

was the key.Going over to raw mode, means

I can download more frames. This has really

helped.Wont be buying a new camera now. :laugh2:

Yep good collimation can save a lot of money. ;-)

It did Stuart .  U  saved me about

£500 ,if I remember rightly. Did not

realise the scope was out .Would have

had the same problem with a new camera.

Just goes to show, what a bit of knowledge

can do. Good site, this SGL is.

Was it hard to collimate Steve? I've not done mine yet. The thought strikes fear into me haha! Think I need to man up and check it..

Paul

This is what I used. I had the same sort of

thoughts. Will it turn out worse, that what

it is.I used a bright star to do mine.A lot

easier than what I thought.

Steve.
