My Lovejoy Q2 Effort

This is my effort on Lovejoy Q2.

First comet for me and I used Deepsky stacker,Pixinsight and photoshop.

9x 180 sec subs with Canon 600D and ED 80.

I spent allot of time fart arsing around on this one.

I was trying to get data out that was not there.

In the end I just posted it as is.

We have had very strong winds, very strong as in 150kmh.

I lost the door to my Observatory last night due to it not being locked.

The oscillations made it open and I spent a few minutes looking for it this morning.

Thank goodness that all was intact in the Observatory.

I had to to a bit of Carpentry on the door to get the hinges on again. :grin:

It's one of the things I'd like to try to image but I can't see it from my garden unfortunately.

Looks really good, you've got a clearly visible tail there and I've seen that a lot of people (I'm desperate to give it a crack myself but the clouds are firmly steadfast!) have struggled to get that detail

Excellently imaged. The tail is very long so its nice to see a slightly wider field of view to show it
