a wide field image (25 degrees). A single 4 second exposure on a Sony Nex-5R with a Canon 50mm f/0.95 prime lens wide open. There are some horrible coma effects going on but stopping the lens down to f2 should cure most of the problems

a lot of stars there for such as hort exposure, i would imagine it will be as good at F2 as well.

at f2 it will easily match and better the 50mm MkII lens, there is no comparison between the two lens in terms of build quality but it's main use will be during daylight where the insane DoF is fun to play with

yup the coma is more obvious in the corners. I think I'm just a touch inside infinity focus as well so I need to grind a few thou' off the adaptor I'm using

I have never understood why canon stopped making them i suppose the more sensitive DSLRs made them redundant but a new version would be great for video use.
