Hi Matt, I use an iPhone app called Scope Nights.. Seems pretty accurate to me, saves me curtain twitching at least! ;p Cheers

Exactly the same as any of the weather sites on TV or internet seem to do.

I also sense-check forecasts against the satellite images of cloud cover, such as on Sat24. You can see how weather systems are developing and estimate how quickly they're moving through - this helps me decide whether its worth rushing home from work or not .

Generally 7timer, but the server seems to be down at the moment.

Although I once taught at Meteo France R&D and asked the Director over lunch one day what would we be having for the W/E, at which he promptly looked out of the window and announced rain because the cows are all lying down in the bottom left corner of the field!

With it being so unpredictable, I tend to use my living room window. Reminds me, must go and look.

Other than that, I use astropanel when working but started to use accuweather. Too soon to say if its any good or not.

Just the bbc weather app, then hope for best but expect the worst.

Easy really. If I set up it rains, if I pack up it clears. Hasn't let me down so far!
