lunator
Col That why I have the ETX 70. It goes in the boot of the car.The new 80mm refractors are reasonbly priced so you can buy them in addition to your 'big' scope.CheersIan
tom.yates
A smaller scope is just to compliment your other scope.

daz
So, Greg...What did you decide? Will the HEQ5 be big enough, or do you need the EQ6??
Jamie
The only advice i can give Greg is this.If you can afford the EQ6 then get it cos it will surely save you the bother ofupgrading later on.Plus there is no such thing as too much mount.I remember for a laugh you and Steve put a big refractor piggy backed on a reflector well the EQ6 would handle the likes of that no probs. What a monstrous site that would be. Once again thanks for the advice.Greg
