Hey Guys

Popped by to say hello and after a bit of advice really, was hoping you guys may be able to help me out,

Not sure which section to post this in, so will start here.

I've been a found star gazer since a young age, enjoyed a good look up at the sky on most nights, but i've never really been full into it.

Anyway, it's my girlfriends birthday tomorrow and she's never really seen the  majesty of a star filled night as she's a city gal.

Anywhoos, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place in Northumberland, that we could go to, to view the sky at night?  I'm aware of the Kielder observatory but I'm looking for somewhere a bit more off the beaten track, maybe dear I say a bit more romanctic (awww).   Somewhere were i can put a blanket down, lay back, and gaze at the stars.
