53 year young bloke from the not so sunny tamworth here. Just brought my first scope, hate the cloudy skies, love your forums, learning a lot. Kids all grown up and left, so lots of spare time to look at the clouds!

that has to be the most frustrating part of this great hobby,

cloud, and at the moment there is only one in the sky, problem

is it's covering the whole sky, roll on winter.

Hiya all,

Thanks for the welcome, I read lots of stuff in here, and went out and brought myself a meade 102, (which I,m lead to believe is a good starter scope, from what I can gather) Its really good and I brought it from a guy at work for £100 so from what I paid for it ,and the amount I have had upto now, seems a great buy ( shame I can't buy a big fan and blow the damn clouds away).

Even the wife,s had a look too!
